Sold by James Wood of Sunseeker La Napoule, the new Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht will depart from Southampton for Gibraltar, before voyaging to Sotogrande and onwards to her home berth in Frejus, South of France. The first Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht to be launched, “BLACK LEGEND”, sold by Harry Bristow-Holmes at Sunseeker London, was delivered to her owner in May Handling impeccably and reaching an average speed of 31.5 knots, the 101 Sport Yacht performed very well throughout the trialĪesthetically very different from the first example of the Sunseeker model, which is famed for its distinctive skull motif and her black and red styling, the second white-hulled 101 Sport Yacht features a more classic and traditional Black American Walnut interior, with a customised lower deck office in lieu of the standard Port 4th guest cabin. With reports of significant swell during the trial, the 101 Sport Yacht handled impeccably, slicing through the waves at high speeds and remaining beautifully stable and comfortable in the saloon throughout. Sunseeker International’s Will Eveleigh, who conducted the sea trial, commented “She handles like a little sports boat and it is amazing what she can do she is a lot of fun! This has been a very successful sea trial.” Combining comfort and performance, she has been prepared in n2018 for her first race, involving no more than 12. Built-in 2013 and bought in 2017 by its current owner, Black nLegend S is now known for its design and elegance in the mediterranean nsea. Speed trials against the tide were conducted on the return to the South Coast, with the agreed average top speed reaching 31.5 knots on her twin MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines (and several knots more going with the tide) – an impressive result! Black Legend S is arguably one of the highest-specified Mylius ever nprepared. Heading out towards Poole Harbour for sea trials, a number of suppliers joined the test voyage for the 101 Sport Yacht With staff from suppliers at RINA, MTU, Sleipner and Simrad on board, the 29.80m superyacht made the voyage from Poole to the north side of the Isle of Wight (Yarmouth) before turning back for the Sunseeker International shipyard.
